The EU Culture ‘Composing with Sounds’ project led to the creation of a creative software package, Compose with Sounds (CwS). The EARS 2 pedagogical site, separately supported, is an eLearning platform for children (11-14 year olds primarily) utilizing CwS for creative tasks. In Interfaces, EARS 2/CwS will be developed to add further enhancements, translated and culturally adapted for use in in many participating countries. EARS 2/CwS will be proposed to music (education) officers throughout Europe as a user-friendly means of introducing the music of sounds to young people and inexperienced listeners of all ages.
Workshops for schools and for community settings will be prepared, tested and implemented using both EARS 2 and CwS.
